More often it's the small things: the wrong specification, a supplier who stops answering, a shipment that arrives late, a question that was never asked. We founded Proxico because we believe someone should stay involved until the equipment is where it needs to be—and doing what it's supposed to do.

Igor has spent more than three decades working with industrial manufacturers across Europe. He knows many of Proxico's partners personally, which means clients get straight answers about what is available, what isn't, and which solution makes the most sense for the project.

Managing Director

Nik works with clients from the first technical discussions through sourcing and project coordination. His role is to keep information flowing between customers, manufacturers and logistics partners, so technical requirements don't get lost as a project moves from quotation to delivery. He also leads Proxico's long-term development and digital presence.

Philip Karanja

Chief Financial Officer

Philip manages the financial side of the business, including cross-border trade finance and contract structuring. When projects need to move quickly, he makes sure the financial side supports the technical one.

Elena Makarieva

Elena Makarieva

Office Manager

Elena coordinates supplier communication, freight, customs documentation and delivery logistics between European manufacturers and clients across East Africa. She follows every shipment closely so projects keep moving and clients always know where things stand.

Proxico was founded to bring experienced technical judgment, dependable project support and long-term manufacturer relationships to industrial operators across East Africa.
